PokerStars Satellites 2009 PokerNews Cup Alpine
admin on January 25th, 2009
You can go skiing by day and play high-stakes tournament poker by night if you attend the 2009 PokerNews Cup Alpine. And you can attend for free if you win one of PokerStars satellite tournaments awarding free entries into the 2009 PokerNews Cup Alpine set in Austria’s Saalbach-Hinterglemm mountains from March 21-28.
PokerStars will run 3 satellites per week–on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays–with a weekly final qualifier for the winners on Sundays (all held at 2 pm EST). And not one but two winners at each Sunday’s final will be awarded a prize package worth €6,000 that includes free entry to two events (the €1,500 main event and Event #4, a €300 Pot Limit Omaha tournament).
It also includes accommodation at the 5-star Alpine Palace ski resort with private helicopter transfers to and from the airport, daily ski passes, 2 vouchers each good for a 1-hour sauna, some traveling money, and an invite to the Team PokerNews Party.
